REÖK Palace (3 minutes/230 m)
Ede Magyar built the Reök Palace, a prime example of Hungarian Art Nouveau, in 1907. Originally constructed as a residential building, the palace has been known as the Regional Centre of Arts since 2007. In the years that have passed since then, visitors have been able to admire the works of Picasso, Goya, Chagall, and Rembrandt, among others, at its temporary exhibitions. Furthermore, REÖK is also a well-known venue for musical programs, smaller theatrical productions, and other cultural events.
