Synagogue (7 minutes/650 m)
In 2017, the Szeged Synagogue, with its exterior and biblical garden beautifully restored, reopened to the public. This represented the most significant renovation in the 114-year-old building’s history. Beyond the restoration of its towers and exterior, the synagogue’s garden was also beautifully revitalized, fulfilling a seventy-year-old dream for the Jewish community of Szeged. The biblical garden was meticulously recreated based on the original designs of botanist Rabbi Löw Immánuel.
