Bed Linen

Our hotel provides bed linen changes twice a week. For daily changes or an unscheduled change, please inform the reception. If you require an extra blanket or pillow for a more restful sleep, or wish to change your pillow, please contact our colleagues. You can choose from the following pillow menu:

Anti-allergenic Bedding

Upon request, we can provide anti-allergenic pillows and duvets that do not contain feathers or down. Please indicate your request when booking or inquire at reception. Filling: 100% polyester fiber.

ATM (Cash Machine) Service

The nearest ATM terminal is located on Kárász Street, at the K&H bank, address: 6720 Szeged, Klauzál tér 5.

Baby Equipment

If you are arriving with a baby or small child, upon request we can provide the following items in your room and in the restaurant: cot, baby bath, children’s bedding, high chair, bottle warmer, step stool, changing mat, toilet seat, potty.

Card Payment Options

Our hotel accepts VISA, Maestro, and Mastercard bank cards, as well as SZÉP-kártya.

Check-in

Rooms are available for check-in from 2 PM on the day of arrival. Earlier check-in may be possible for an additional fee, subject to availability. Please inquire at reception.

Envelope

You will find letterhead and envelopes in the in-room folder.

Razor

Forgot your razor at home? Please contact our reception colleagues, and we will provide you with a complimentary hotel shaving kit.

Shoe Cleaning

Our hotel has a shoe cleaning machine in the restaurant lobby, allowing you to quickly clean your shoes. You will also find a shoe cleaning sponge in the wardrobe in your room.

Luggage Storage

Not leaving immediately after check-out and would like to explore the city without your luggage? Leave your bags at reception! We will store them securely and look after them until you return.

Luggage Delivery

Upon request, we will carry your luggage to your room and bring it down upon your departure.

Smoking

All rooms in our hotel are smoke-free. Guests may only smoke in designated areas in the courtyard. Rooms are equipped with smoke detectors that are sensitive to cigarette smoke. Any costs incurred due to an alarm will be charged to the guest. Should you choose to smoke in your room, a “damage fee” of 100 euros will be charged for extra cleaning.

The nearest electric car/bicycle charging station is two minutes from our hotel at Petőfi Sándor sugárút 85.

Umbrella

Caught in the rain without an umbrella? Guests can borrow an umbrella free of charge during their stay. Please return it to reception upon departure.

Wake-up Call

If you would like to request a wake-up call, please inform reception. This service is complimentary.

Night Gate Closure

The main gate is closed every night at dusk. You will find a doorbell and an intercom on the left side of the gate; pressing it will grant you immediate access.

First Aid Point

A first aid kit is available at our hotel reception for minor injuries. Our reception staff are ready to assist you with first aid.

Restaurant

A cozy restaurant, capable of accommodating 50 people, awaits guests in the hotel’s basement. It serves as the breakfast venue and is also suitable for training sessions, meetings, and gatherings. For groups, we can provide lunch or dinner, as well as coffee breaks, upon request and prior arrangement.

Food Selection

You can order from the Lobby Bar’s drink menu 24/7, with in-room service available for an additional room service fee.

Half Board

We provide half-board service for our guests at the ZERO restaurant, located directly opposite the hotel. The restaurant pays special attention to guests with dairy-free, egg-free, and gluten-free diets, offering a selection of high-quality dishes for our half-board guests. The menu includes a main course and a choice of soup or dessert, plus a bottle of mineral water.

Photocopying

Color and black-and-white photocopying services are available at our hotel reception for a fee.

Payment Methods

At our hotel, you can pay with cash (HUF, EUR), bank cards (VISA, Maestro, Mastercard), Széchenyi Pihenőkártya, or even with a gift voucher issued by the hotel.

Toothbrush and Toothpaste

Forgot your toothbrush at home? Please contact our reception colleagues, and we will provide you with a complimentary dental kit.

Bathrobe

Bathrobes are provided free of charge upon request. Please indicate your request at reception. Upon departure, please return the bathrobe to reception.

Bathroom Amenities

The following hygiene and cosmetic amenities are provided in the bathroom: 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel, liquid soap, shower cap, cotton swabs, cotton pads, nail file.

Bathroom Chair

Would you feel safer showering with a bathroom chair? Please inform reception, and we will place one in your bathroom!

Cot

If you would like to request a cot for your room, please inform reception. This service is complimentary.

Pharmacy

The nearest pharmacy is Pingvin Patika at Dugonics tér, which is approximately 250 meters, about a 5-minute walk, from our hotel.

Hairdryer

You will find a hairdryer in every bathroom in our hotel.

Pets

Our hotel welcomes dogs up to a maximum of 15 kg. Please indicate if you are arriving with a dog when booking, so we can prepare for their arrival. This service is available for an extra fee.

For the comfort of our other guests, please keep your dog on a leash in the hotel’s common areas. The restaurant is a pet-free zone, so please leave your pet in your room during breakfast.

Only leave your pet alone for extended periods if you are certain it will not cause separation anxiety (barking, scratching). The owner is fully financially, legally, and morally responsible for any damage caused by their pet on the hotel premises.

Cold Packed Lunch

Leaving early and can’t wait for breakfast starting at 7 AM? No problem. We are happy to prepare a “grab-and-go” cold packed lunch that you can enjoy on your journey. Please inform reception of your request the evening before your departure!

Refrigerator

Rooms are equipped with hotel mini-bar refrigerators.

Information Materials

Publications, program brochures, and maps detailing the city of Szeged are available at reception for our guests.

Play Corner

The hotel restaurant’s play corner awaits children with coloring books, board games, and a new play kitchen! Parents can dine peacefully while the little ones have fun.

You will find a pen and notepad on the desk in your room.

Carbon Footprint

Hotel Piano’s carbon footprint was calculated according to the Hotel Carbon Measurement Initiative (HCMI) methodology for the period of October 2024 – September 2025. The calculation was based on the hotel’s energy consumption, heating, electricity, and outsourced laundry data. The total calculated carbon footprint is: 31.78 tons of CO₂e, which corresponds to 7.40 kg CO₂e/guest night.

Damages

Guests are responsible for any damages caused in the room or on the hotel premises during their stay. The hotel reserves the right to charge the guest responsible for damages for repair and replacement costs.

Discounts

Our guests can purchase discounted tickets to the Vadaspark (Wildlife Park), the Móra Ferenc Museum and its associated exhibition venues (Fekete Ház, Szeged Castle and Stone Collection), the Ópusztaszer Heritage Park, and the Ezer Év Parkja in Mórahalom. Please ask for discount coupons at reception!

Check-out

Rooms must be vacated by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. Later check-out may be possible depending on availability. Late check-out can be provided for an additional fee.

Late Check-out

Do you have errands to run, or would you simply like to relax longer on your departure day? Subject to availability, you have the option to stay in your room until 2:00 PM at the latest, for an additional charge.

Early Check-in

Arriving earlier than 2:00 PM? Please indicate this when booking your room, and you will have the option to check into your room from 11:00 AM for an additional fee.

Environmental Protection

Our hotel is deeply committed to environmental protection. We are still at the beginning of our journey, but we already produce hot water using solar energy, collect waste selectively, combat food waste, and refurbish furniture. Please join us on this path!

Private Room / Event Room

For events and training sessions, our hotel restaurant can be used after breakfast, from approximately 11:00 AM. The room has a maximum capacity of 40 people.

Visitors

Please register your visitors at reception upon their arrival. Visitors are not permitted in guest rooms after 10 PM.

Air Conditioning

Every room is equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, allowing guests to cool their rooms on hot summer days or heat them on cool winter nights according to their preferences. As we also use solar energy, for energy efficiency and sustainability reasons, we recommend using the air conditioning for heating in winter as well.

Letterhead

You will find letterhead and envelopes in the in-room folder.

Minibar

For environmental reasons, our hotel rooms do not feature minibars. Instead, our 24/7 lobby bar or room service is available to our guests.

Lobby Bar

Our hotel’s Lobby Bar offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, and hot sandwiches 24 hours a day for our guests.

Laundry Services

If you wish to have laundry done, please place your clothes in the laundry bag provided in your room and bring it to reception. You can also request ironing services at reception. Laundry dropped off by 9 AM can be washed and ironed on the same day.

Dry cleaning is handled by an external provider. Upon request, we will take your clothes for cleaning and return them to you. Cleaning takes 4 – 24 hours.

Washing Machine/Dryer

Guests can do their own laundry for a fee using our dedicated washing machine in the laundry room. Please inquire at reception about the service fees and instructions for using the washing machine and dryer.

Printing

Guests can print their documents at any time using the guest computer located on the first floor. The printed copies can be collected at reception for an additional fee.

Medical Assistance

Please ask reception for assistance with contact information for the on-duty pharmacy and doctor.

Slippers

If you would like to request slippers during your stay, please contact our reception colleagues!

Parking

Our hotel has a secure, enclosed parking lot in the inner courtyard, capable of accommodating eight passenger cars. If you wish to use our parking, please indicate this at reception when booking! Parking spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and this service is available for an additional fee. Unfortunately, buses and larger vehicles cannot enter the parking lot due to the gate dimensions of 240×240 cm. However, you can also park in front of the hotel in the green parking zone, which is paid between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Outside these hours, and on weekends, parking is free.

Its fine, silky angin cover material and soft feather filling ensure comfortable, peaceful rest.

Its cover material is treated with BI-OME® antimicrobial technology, which effectively reduces the proliferation of bacteria, fungi, and dust mites. This keeps the pillow fresh and allergen-free for a long time, making it a reassuring choice for allergy sufferers. Filling: 100% polyester fiber.

      • Memory Bamboo pillow 60×40 cm

The product’s design evokes the traditional pillow shape, combined with modern ergonomic needs.

It was developed by NASA scientists in the ’60s and became widely available in the 1990s. The memory foam pillow regains its original shape after each use. Its great advantage is that it supports the cervical vertebrae during sleep, thus keeping the spine straight. The bamboo woven into the pillowcase provides a pleasantly dry sleep due to its high moisture absorption and release capabilities.
